We were fortunate to have been able to participate in programmes curated by Penn Junior Academy from 2023 – 2024, when we were at Primus Schoolhouse Alexandra. The mix of programmes offered were well varied – with options that focused on body and movement, on language and also on motor skills – with something for everyone! Our picks for Leia were Mandarin with Joy Connections, where the language was introduced in a fun and memorable way through music and movement, and Pottery classes with Dream Art. Leia grew to love pottery classes, which really helped expose her to ‘mess’ sensorially, as well as introduce the concept that things take time – that creation is a journey with an outcome that is not immediate or absolute! We thank the team for curating such a good mix of quality programmes and partners, and would highly recommend classes with them!
I appreciate the convenience of enrolling my children in PJA programs, as it eliminates the need to spend valuable weekend time transporting them to classes. Conducting the classes on school premises is extremely convenient and beneficial for the children, as it provides a familiar and safe environment where I know they are in good hands. The programs are well-planned, and the class dates are communicated well in advance. My children participate in Vivokids, Aikido, and Dream Art, and they thoroughly enjoy each program.
